MCWASP is a long-running and prestigious conference in the solidification community – which has been running (usually) every 3 years since 1980! Often a collection of the pre-eminent academic work experts in solidification, MCWASP is always very happy to welcome PhD Students, Industry or any other new members into the community. Furthermore, while primarily a conference on the numerical modelling of solidification phenomena, we are always very happy to welcome people with a more practical experimental background who want to learn more about the cutting edge advancements in the modelling of their experiments, where we can discuss the validation of our models and the use of modelling to help elucidate your experimental results.
While started in the USA, since early on MCWASP has always been a very international conference, being hosted in locations from countries all across the world!
